LYCANTHROPIC GIRLCRASH is an upcoming visual novel about Jamie Coyden: a werecoyote in a world where lycanthropy is an uncommon and stigmatized condition. Lycanthropes that stop repressing and give in to becoming werewolves are treated as subhuman - but Jamie's good at repression. Her mental illness, her unacknowledged dysphoria, her lycanthropy... it's all locked down. She can be a cisgender human girl with ease, after so much time stifling anything else.

When her werewolf ex-friend Lark Engelhart comes back home for the first time since their infamous run away from home that left their quiet suburb reeling, things come apart. Jamie and her kind-of friend Fen Landigan, a transgender werefox always trying her best to keep herself together, have to deal with the question that's weighed them down for years: if repressing yourself is what's best for everyone, why does Lark seem so happy?
